If you can get in, have dinner at Wolfgang Puck's/West Side (it's AWESOME!), then stroll back to SSR via Marketplace (take the waterside walkway for the first bit of the walk--beautiful and fun and relaxing all at the same time) if you're energetic and feeling up for fun--you'll hear music all thru the PI portion of the stroll, which may tempt you into one of the clubs; if not, it's fun to hear the music as you walk by...you'll also pass a number of fun snack-y spots (if you have any room at all left after eating at Wolfgang Puck's!)...including, for example, Ghiradelli's for a hot fudge sundae!
Or, if you're feeling a bit tired but still wanting fun, take the boat back to SSR...it's a fun water ride (in a low-key relaxed sort of way) all by itself...if you want, you can even boat-ride over to OKW and back, just to extend the boat ride!)...
The Turf Club lounge is fun in a bar/relaxation sort of way, too...
Or, if you're REALLY feeling energetic...pop over to the Boardwalk...that's a fun evening spot, whether you want a restaurant or club or walking around to do people watching! And the Fantasia Gardens mini-golf across the street from the Swolphin might be a fun "distraction" too...we absolutely LOVE the Swolphin/BC-YC/Boardwalk "complex"...so many choices for fun stuff to do/see! YOu can grab a bus from DTD/Marketplace (or PI) and get off at any of the 5 resorts (if, for example, you want to start w/mini-golf, get off at the Swan...if you want to start at the Boardwalk, get off at (surprise!) the Boardwalk!)...
I share your "pain" over losing 1 1/2-2 days out of 5 at WDW...I'd be depressed and in need of fun if I were you, too! But comfort yourself w/the thought that even if you do absolutely nothing but relax at SSR when you arrive, your blues will be gone almost immediately upon arrival!
