SSR Treehouse Villas

I thought I read somewhere that the Treehouse Villas at SSR are not actually part of the 11 month window for SSR owners.

Is this true? If so, does that mean that they are fair game at 7 months only?

SSR owners get an 11 month advantage when booking Treehouse Villa.

I figured they would. I'm positive I read somewhere in Disney fine print that the Treehouse Villas are not included in the 11 month window for SSR owners.

I can't remember where though...too much research over the last few months.

No, that is incorrect. THV is part of SSR. So SSR owners get 11 months to book them.

Really?? That is good news for me to hear. Im hoping to book 2-3 nights after Christmas 2014 prior to our December 29, 2014 cruise and wanted the THV to save points. Im thinking I need to walk my reservation though for anything I want since worried most people will be booking straight through Christmas and New Years. Do you all agree if I want the THV or GV?

You know the point requirement is higher than the two bedroom villas at SSR now, right? That's why the THV are easier to get. 65 points per night Sun-Thur, and 76 for Fri and Sat.

You also have two bunk beds in the third bedroom that are smaller and not really suitable for adults. What is your party make up?

We were able to rent at 11 months out for next January, and SSR is our home resort. Haven't stayed at them yet, but they look nice!

Yes I do but thank you. It's still less points than the GV but I'll take either one. I do hope to try the treehouse since we have not stayed there yet.
We have 6 adults but will make due since it is only for a few nights before our cruise.
