SSR to Poly for Ohanas

Our first night we traditionally go to Ohanas but this time will not have a car and we are staying at SSR. My thought is to take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and the monorail to Ohanas. Then return on a bus from the Poly to Downtown Disney and walk over to SSR.

Does this sound reasonable? Any thoughts on how much time we should allow?

We have done just what you said 3 times and we allowed 45 mins. just to be sure and have waited 15mins to get seated.We would rather be a little early.You never know about the bus wait.

That is how we did it too for Ohana. The thig about SSR is you can walk to DTD and get a bus to any hotel and back again. We have always allowed 1 hour, most times arrived early...but you never know.

We walked to DTD and took the Poly bus! OR - if the MK bus is anywhere around the bus stop at the time you leave, take the MK bus and then take the monorail to the Poly! Taking the monorail takes some time, so be sure to allow a good hour from the time you leave your resort until the time of your reservation! We were around 45 min. late (due to father in law) for our O'hana reservation - and ended up having to wait another 30 min. before they could fit us in!
