SSR: the spa and nonDVC??

Okay, I'll be at SSR in July with my Dsis and Dniece and since it's a girls only trip, we're looking to do some girly things like tea at GF. I loved the spa at SSR when I was there in December and think my sis and niece might enjoy a little pampering....but they aren't DVC members. So, I know they can still use the services, but will they, or rather, will I be able to use my DVC discount at the spa for them?

We took my husband's sister with us to SSR about 1.5 yrs ago. She and I both had a massage, one that was discounted for DVC members (not all spa services have a DVC discount) and I don't think she got the discount. But I'm not sure. Why don't you call the spa or MS and find out?

I can't answer your question about the DVC discount. When we were at SSR in March, two adorable little girls were excited to show me their manicures they got at the spa. I was laying by the pool - and they were very proud of their nails which were decorated with flowers and butterflies. Very cute.

Thanks! I didn't think they would be able to receive the DVC discount, but thought someone here might know...I guess I will call the spa directly.

I just returned from BWV trip and we used the spa at SSR for facials....I am the DVC member and paid for both treatments and did recieve the DVC discount on both (my friend is not a DVC member). Also her room key because she was staying with me on points did say DVC member. I would think as long as you are paying and they are with you, they would get the discount also. Facials were fabulous !!

ABSOLUTELY! As long as your guests are staying with you on DVC points (so that their room key says DVC), they will get the spa discounts. I was there in November witih 5 friends and all 6 of us used SSR spa and received the DVC discount. Significant savings for a big group! Enjoy!
