SSR - Tell me about the Paddock

I stayed in Grandstand for my first trip home and loved the "away from it all" feeling at SSR. I'm contemplating a request for the Paddock next trip - any reasons not to? Any recommendations for view - is "Lake view" a possibility? (Looks like it on the map, but sometimes trees/bushes block the way in-person.) Anything else I should consider?

We just returned from SSR. We stayed in the Paddock area and really liked it. My only change next time would be to be closer to the bus stop, not an issue if you have a car. I'm not sure but it seemed to me all the rooms had a view of the lake.

We have stayed in both areas. The Paddock may have more noise from the road and fire station. Both areas are great.

Our favorite building is in the Paddock. The Carousel bus stop is in the parking lot for that building. Can't remember the numbers but it is the paddock building closest to the entrance.

We stayed in the Paddock our first time at SSR. We had a great room, view of quiet pool area and just a few steps to the bus stop and our car! Also very close to the bridge. I know some of the rooms there aren't located as well as our was, but that room was fabulous!
