I will be at Saratoga in two weeks!!:cool1: I have a couples massage planned on the cruise. Would it be better to go to SSR? The cruise is only 3 days. Do you get a discount on the couples of massage at SSR since I own DVC? I am just concerned if it will take to much time on the cruise.

We do get discounts on some treatments at SSR:

However, the massages on the "adults only" beach in cabanas do interest me. I'm considering that for our 3 night cruise in May. You have the whole day on Castaway Key, and it's a beautiful beach area, view of the water.

Since you are only on a 3-day cruise I'd definitely get the massage at SSR. The 3-day cruise is really only two full days, one in Nassau and one at Castaway Cay. I'd save that cruise time for things you can't do on land.

Have a great time!

The spa onboard the ship is unbelievable and SSR just doesn't compare. Besides it is only about an hour for a massage, but definetly take an additional 30 minutes and enjoy the rainforest room.

When my husband and I cruised we did the massage, rassul, and then went to the wine tasting in Palios. Perfect day in my opinion. This was on the Nassau day.:thumbsup2

I love the rainforest room on DCL, but I prefer SSR's services and technicians.

The rainforest room is $15 a day, so you dont need a service to enjoy it.

I did not like my pedicure or manicure on DCL and did not feel it was worth it. I enjoyed my cabana massage on castaway cay, I slept thru most of it and CC is so beautiful I felt like I was "wasting" that time, because we had to be back by 5pm.

I had it booked for this last cruise, but cancelled and enjoyed the day on the beach this time and really enjoyed it.

OTOH, SSR pedicures are excellent. Everyone that I send agrees that it was their best pedicure ever.

We did the couples massage on the Magic and when it came time to finish and they try to sell you the products I thought my DCheapH would say no way - he was so relaxed he bought everything - I don't think he realized it was $250 worth of stuff- needless to say we loved the DCL Spa. We enjoyed the rainforest room - one day. I had a pedicure and manicure and I loved both.

I also had the cabana massage on the Wonder - just me it was an awesome treat!!!

I have to say though that if you are only on the 3 day cruise I don't know if I would give up that time on Castaway Cay or the ship.

We are visiting SSR in Feb - thinking about doing a spa treatment.

Thanks to all those who have been to the SSR spa.
