SSR Sofabeds?

Does anyone know if they are the new kind that the other resorts are getting to replace the old ones? As new as SSR is, it seems like they would have just started with the new type. Thanks!

SSR started out with newer style sofa beds when it opened.

They have foam cushions and no bars across the back.

We've found them to be great and much more comfortable than the old style that is currently being replaced at the other DVC's.

Yes, they're wonderfully comfortable. American Leather has a website. However, someone said that the sofabeds at the other resorts are a different manufacturer.

Where'd you find it? I looked at the site, but didnt really see a store to purchase.
I would love to have one of these in our guest room/office.

I think you can go to the American Leather website & get a listing of local distributors... for us we have Circle furniture & a few others, but Circle was the largest...

I'm wondering if I'm crazy or if we had a different kind of sofabed at SSR in August. I was traveling with my daughter and she usually uses the pull out, but she slept with me instead because the bed was so incredibly hard. There seemed to be no cushiness at all and we never opened it up again after that first try. What are the beds like that everyone likes? We were in the newest section of SSR.

Candace, in answer to your question no the ones at SSR are the same as the new ones at BW and BCV.

The sofa beds at SSR where the newer type with the board support system instead of the bar in the back with a type of memory foam mattress. All of the sofa beds at SSR are the same type.

However that is not what BW and BCV are getting. They are getting something even newer that has a system where when you unfold it you do not remove the couch cushions and there is a envelope that holds the extra bed pillows.

The SSR ones and BW/BCV ones are the not the same. Here is a photo of the BW ones provided by Korzmom.
