SSR Section Request

We are checking into SSR in 60 days I have requested the Paddock area, near the pool. We prefer this pool to the main pool and I like being able to use the washer and dryer while sitting out by the pool. Has this become a more popular area since the slide pool has been put in? How do you feel our chances are? Keep in mind it is the week before and including Easter.

I have requested Paddock every single trip and gotten it every single trip. All our trips have been since the pool has been upgraded. Even when we went Christmas to New Years we got Paddock.

I don't think the slide pool will be the driver of demand now. I think with the new preferred and non-preferred sections that Paddock will have more requests than before, just with people trying to avoid Carousel.

I suspect people will default request to Grandstand if they're booking Standard, and have a lawn tantrum over Carousel.

I expect the default will be Carousel and view requests will fill the Grandstand and Paddock areas first.

I suspect that some new folks booking at SSR because of the lower points will request the Paddock area, so it might fill up quicker than before.

View doesn't really factor for me. We just like to be a building or 2 away from pool. Thanks for all the input.

I have a Standard view stay coming up later this month, and requested "near pool" and "high floor." Either of the Standard-area pools are also easy walks to the main resort area, though we generally get 1BRs or larger, so laundry room access isn't an issue for us.

We usually stay in studios so we usually request to be near the laundry room in the section we have requested. Now for a standard view I would probably do like Brian Noble said except I might say near laundry room instead and high floor.
