what is current cost per DVC POINT?

The current cost for SSR is $95 per point. They are offering a discount currently of $10 per point. It is shown as part of the required 20% downpayment. I was told that the cost for resales of other properties through diisney is currently $89 per point.

I just received my 2nd information packet and it doesn't mention if you can take the $10 per point discount off of the deposit amount or if it just comes off the full price. I'll have to call and find out. Taking $1600 off of the deposit for 160 points would be great. (Less money to put down at once.)

It comes off of the full price. I am a new DVC meber, also SSR, and I purchased 150 points. So instead of it being $14,250, it was $12,750. And then I left my deposit.
