SSR Questions

I haven't been able to find much information about SSR. I know the brilliant people of this board can help

Are they selling for 85 a point? I heard something about a 10 dollar point off sale until end of October, anyone know what
that is about? How much are the dues at SSR? Any sites I
can goto to get SSR information?

I just "bought in" to the vacation club at SSR. The current points are $89 each but until Nov. 1st Disney is offering a $10 per point rebate. On Nov. 1st this rebate drops to $5 per point. Dues are $3.8006/point. Your points won't be available for use until March 2004 if you take advantage of the rebate. I just signed up yesterday so I don't even have my official paperwork. My whole family is really looking forward to this.

Dues:$3.80 pp.

The rooms layouts are like Hilton Head, if you go to disneyvacationclub.com and look up the resorts you can see HH, but I dont think SSR is up yet.

There will be a market style food court and awesome pool, so good rumors are they wont allow you to pool hop to it.

I would say the models are like BCV more than HHI. We purchased resale sight unseen last year. So, our guide walked us though the BWV, BCV, and SSR models so we could see them since we had not stayed in any of them yet. We have stayed at HHI and now OKW. I would say that SSR is just like BCV. Room layout and especially kitchen with the bar area and dining room table layout. Very nice! Smaller than OKW which is why we originally purchased there.
