SSR questions

hi just booked the SSR 3/30-4/6. We are not DVC owners we were able to get the 40% off deal. A couple of questions for you.
Are refillable mugs available at this resort?
Is there daily maid service? I ask this because I read on another thread that the towels were changed on Wed. Is this for DVC people only, do I as a daily paying guest get fresh towels daily. We are booked into a studio my dm will be needing a wheelchair will there be adequate room for it in the room? Thanks for your help and any other advice you are willing to share about the SSR.

A studio at SSR will have one queen bed and one double sleeper sofa. You should have enough room to get around with a wheelchair, especially if you request handicap accessible room.

Since you booked directly from Disney, you will get a daily full cleaning. Only point stays through DVC have limited housekeeping.

Refillable mugs are available, but are not always the best choice at DVC resorts. Because you will have a nice sized refrigerator (undercounter size with a small freezer section), you can fill it with your beverages of choice and they will be very handy for you.

SSR is a beautiful resort, but is is rather spread out. When you check in at the Carriage House, make sure you get the information on bus stops and boat transportation to DTD.

Yes, you can get refillable mugs from Artist's Palette, the counter service restaurant at SSR. You can refill them there, or at the pool bars.

As a cash-paying guest you will get daily mousekeeping service just like you do at the non-DVC resorts. Only members staying on points get reduced mousekeeping.

Here's a layout of the floor plan of the studios. You should be able to fit a wheel chair with no problems.
