For the most part, you park by your building. Some buildings are around a central parking lot, such as the Springs and part of the Grandstand, and the other areas have the lot up close to the buildings. Walking around the resort is easy and nice, but it is a big resort so you will cover some distance. Sidewalks are nice and wide and you can walk over to DTD as well. If you don't feel like walking all the time, you can hop a bus and get off at the Springs, which is the last stop and near the main pool, restaurants, community center and hospitality house. We've have eaten at the Artist's Pallete and the food was good and not badly priced. SSR is like OKW in that it is a quiet resort, distanced from the hustle and bustle of the parks. It is very peaceful and relaxing. The main pool is actually one of the nicer ones at WDW, and the Grandstand pool has excellent theming as well. I think the majority of SSR owners will really start to love the fact that the resort is completed and there is no more construction, and also that it is starting to grow-up and near it's full-design potential.
