SSR question

We will be staying at SSR next week and had a couple of questions please. We've stayed there once but it was in Congress Park because it was the only area open at the time. This time should I request the Springs section? Is it closer to the main pool? But I want to make sure it has a nice quiet pool too (I read somewhere that the quiet pool isn't as nice as the one in Congress park ). Finally, I want to make sure the location of the Springs won't add too much time to the walk to DTD. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Since The Springs is across the street from the main pool, there is no "quiet" pool for those buildings. There are at least 2 buildings in The Paddocks area, plus the four at Congress Park that will be closer to DD. It might be wise to prioritize what you are looking for when making requests, since each area of the resort has unique properties that separate it from the other areas.

The Springs is closest to the pool, Artist's Palette and the front desk and those buidlings will have a view of the resort's interior lake. It consists of 3 buildings.

The Paddocks is also situated around the same interior lakes and this area does have a neighborhood pool. There is an easy walkway bridge across the lake to the main pool, Artist's Palette and from desk area. It presently consists of five completed buildings with two more under construction to be completed in 2007.

Congress Park sits on the same lake as Downtown Disney and Pleasure Island. It does have a centrally located neighborhood pool and is a short walk to DD using the lighted pathway along the lake.

There are an additional four buildings under construction, also to be completed in 2007, that are on the fairway behind the Carriage House area. It appears they will also share a neighborhhod pool and will also be a short walk to the main pool, Artist's Palette and the front desk area of the resort.
