The Deluxe Studio pictures on the WDW website show the bed pretty much up against the wall or with only 2-3 inches space.

Is this accurate?

My parents would be staying in the room (with me on the fold out) and they would both need to enter from their own side of the bed.

Thanks!

Here's a better picture from Allears.net which shows at least a foot or more between the bed and the wall... hope this helps.saratoga-aprings-studio-2015-3.JPG

it is tight, if you need lots of room try the OKW studio, you will also get 2 real beds.

I agree it is tight. Like many DVC resorts, you need to walk-in in sideways to get into the bed on that side. In the dark during the middle of the night, I sometimes forget and that can be quite painful when I bump into a wall.

I was also looking at OKW. I think it might be the better fit. I just liked that SSR was a little more on the outskirts as we are doing some offsite activities.

Thanks for the pictures and first hand experiences.

OKW is literally right around the corner from SSR. I would rate them equal in outskirtishness. OKW Studios are huge, I would recommend them, your parents will appreciate the real bed.

FYI, most OKW buildings do not have elevators, so some studios require walking up 2 flights of stairs.

If the parents have mobility issues, ask MS to request ground floor or an elevator building for medical reasons.

Thanks! Yes we would have to be on the first floor.
