SSR Points Entitlement

I am in the process of completing with DVC for Saratoga Springs (210 points).
My use year will be June.Does that mean I will only have 210 points available to me from June next year or will there be some entitlement from the time I complete(i.e. the next couple of weeks) until next June?
I don't know if that's wishful thinking but It didn't even occur to me until now.

No, you will not get any points for this year. That is why you get the $10 credit per point without having to sell back your first year's points. Normally, to get the credit you have to give up all or part of your first year's points. With SSR you still get the credit but will not get points until 2004 (except Dec. use years which will get their first allotment 12/03). SSR is not open yet so they cannot allot points with no rooms available to use them on.

Either you are paying $79/point and not getting points until June, or you paid $89/point and they are giving you some developer points to go in the meantime.

But if you are making a reservation after June couldn't you go ahead and make that after they open up the reservations in december (within the 11 month window of course). I mean say you want to go in August, could you book that in December using the points that you won't get until June? Or if you wanted to go in May, couldn't you borrow some of your points that you would get in June?

That's exactly how it works. On December 1, 2003- SSR owners may begin making reservations at SSR. If they want to go there before they actually get their points, they can borrow from te next allotment (May reservation with a June Use Year)
