SSR Parking and Room Questions

Hi! We are DVC owners at BWV but are staying at SSR for the first time next month (short notice 10 day trip) and I'm hoping someone can answer a few questions for me.

We alway stay in a BWV-Standard view room ground floor (looking towards the entry way) and DD LOVES the ducks that walk right up to the window (and I mean like-highlight of her trip - still regularly talks about 10 months later and asks when we are going back to see the ducks LOVES). So - what's my best chance of replicating that at SSR?? Any particular building known to have ducks nearby???

ALso - how does parking work and are there interior or exterior corridors? We are going to have a double stroller (3 yo & 8 month old) so to the extent that we are able to park super-close to our room (and potentially even leave the stroller in the car) would be awesome (at BWV, that is not a possiblity, but is offset by walking to Epcot and MGM). We will probably next-to-never step foot on a bus- we drive everywhere - except OCCASIONALLY Magic Kingdom- but since we have the double stroller and 2 kids this year - I bet we'll even drive to TTC.

Thanks!!

Parking can be quite close to your building and it easy to get to the rooms in the Congress Park area and in many of the buildings in the Grrandstand area. The corriors are exterior and there are elevators in each building. We did not have a ground floor room so can't comment on the ducks except the ones that took a swim at the CP pool. Can't comment on other areas as these are the only ones we have stayed in. At OKW we had ducks visit every area we stayed.

We often feed the rabbits at SSR that come to our porch. Parking is close, but depending upon available space and your room location it could still be a five minute walk.

We stayed in room 4145 at the Springs last month and the ducks were a big hit. We threw some crackers out and they would waddle through the short shrubbery and quack at us like they had something to say. It was a highlight!

Grandstand- I thought you might get an idea of the corridors from this pic. The elevator is the large opening on the right.
