SSR or Swan

Going to WDW 12/21 for 4 nights. I am an owner at OKW. I am booked at the Swan because no DVC properties were available. I just called DVC today and SSR has a studio and one bedroom available. Traveling with me are my wife, 8 year old son and 22 year old niece. The purpose of our trip is mostly to enjoy the holiday spirit and get whatever rides in we can. We are coming back in January and staying at AKV Kidani. Should I consider switching? I know SSR only has one king bed and a sofa bed. We could bring an air mattress with us. Thoughts?

I think you'll appreciate the extra space of the one bedroom villa at SSR over a cramped hotel room - I'd jump on that before someone else snaps it up.

We've never stayed at SSR, but the Swan would be a great location - close to Epcot and DHS, just a walk or boat ride away. The boardwalk is right there for entertainment too. We own at BW and love being able to access 2 parks without dealing with buses.

That said, if there's a one bedroom at SSR, it would definitely give you more space and may make the trip more enjoyable -- just depends on what is more important to you. Hope you have a great trip

Just found out I can't cancel Swan. I had to do it two days ago. That's ok. We are spending two our 3 full days at epoch and hollywood studios so I am in a great location at the Swan.
