SSR or BWV??

Hello,
I'm looking into renting points for May. My first choice was BCV as I just love this resort, the rooms, pool and whole atmosphere. It's not available. The only resorts open are OKW, SSR, and BWV. At SSR I was thinking of a studio and then adding the DDP or a 1 bedroom because they are really nice & Spacious. BWV would be a 1 bedroom. I love the location but have heard the rooms need some updating and better housekeeping. My two frineds who own DVC have stayed there. SSR looks nice and new to me. Looking for any opinions of those that have stayed at either resort.

You need to book as far in advance as possible, DVC resorts fill up fast. BWV may be gone by now.

SSR is like a condo with exterior halls open to the outdoors and units grouped into separate buildings. BCV is like a hotel with interior hallways, one long building.

SSR is a newer building and Mousekeeping can be hit or miss at any resort.

All three have one bedrooms with one king bed and one queen sleeper sofa. SSR and BWV will have a smaller, narrow balcony with two chairs and one side table. OKW wil have a large open porch with a round table and four chairs.

As for availability, it changes every minute. What is open right now, may be booked in an hour.

I would pick BWV. I just returned from there, and had a wonderful room and an all around great vacation. Flower and Garden show at Epcot is going on in May, and that's an extra reason for staying at BWV.

My whole family (5 rooms) stayed at BWV in June and we had a great time and all of the rooms were in great shape. I love that area and even though my family loved the BWV we are trying the BCV this July. I wouldn't worry too much, I think the BWV are wonderful.
