Morning :)

A guy a work with took his daughter to Orlando last summer for the first time. I helped him with lots of the planning and they had an amazing trip staying on I Drive for 5 nights and at Pop for 9.

He's going back next summer (End of June) and this time wants to spend 2 weeks on site at a Mod.

I've showed him all the Mods and he's currently going back and forth between POFQ and CSR.

2 questions:

If he books now and then a free dining or better offer comes out will he be able to get that? (He'll book through WDTC so I'm sure the answer's a yes but wanted some confirmation as I don't want to block him into a deal he can't change!)

And also when should the OKW offer be coming out? That rivals the prices of the Mods doesn't it?

Complete orlando are offering the deals in next few weeks so facebook said

I know from previouse experince wdtcuk was gonna charge me a fee to change and they reprice it all so not sure if it might be worth waiting a couple of weeks

We are expecting the new deals to be announced within days, last year it was 1st April. Why book then change? might as well just wait and see what they offerso close.
I know VH wouldn't add free DDP after booking, not sure about WDTC.

I am looking forward to seeing this offer, if it is good may mean I get to stay onsite!!:)

We're looking at staying at OKW for 2/3 weeks end of August until mid September... When I spoke to Disney in January, they said they expected to run the same offer as this year, next year, but couldn't confirm this.

I was originally told to call back at the start of March for availability/prices/offers but villas at OKW for 2013 hadn't been released when I called.

I spoken to Disney again last week, and they advised that the Villas should become available to book around the same time their offers for 2013 are released... beginning of April.

I would seriously advise him to wait it out for a couple of weeks, maximum!

Hollie xx

I would wait as in the past the small print has said new bookings only.

Much prefer the US way of booking and being able to change without penalty.

Hi, I booked Pop Century with Disney UK in 2009, then changed it to SSR with free dining/42% off. I lost £25 booking fee but this was because I had 14 nights for the price of 10.
I am sure others have stated that if the price is higher they have not been charged.

As others have said I would hang on, we have a 1 bedroom villa booked for 2 weeks for far less than a standard room at akl. It's an excellent deal combined with the free ddp.

Last year thee was also an early booking offer of a free $300 gift card which we got (later reduced to $150)

but if you booked too early (like me) you don't get either gift card:headache::mad:

Years ago there were always incentives to book early, free child places, discounts..... now I hardly ever see an offer worth taking early. If anything Tour ops, airlines, car rental companies all charge a premium knowing people want to book early.

I agree about waiting to see what the offers are. We booked with the discount/dinning deal last year and the same plus gift card for this year. Did a dummy booking if we wanted to book now with having to pay the normal price and buy the DDP and factor in the $150 and :scared1: what a massive difference in the price.

We are hoping for the same deal for next year. I know how tempting it is to want to book but as sunday is the 1st I am sure he could be persuaded to wait until then.
