SSR main pool closed in March?

I was on the phone with SSR on Monday and asked to speak to Recreation Services (they have to schedule activities for the pool closure). They said that it shows the 9th - 27th. The 9th is a Monday so to me that makes sense. They also said that the activites that normally happen around the pool (poolside movies, games, etc) will all be moved to the other pools and the weekly schedule will clearly state which pool to go to for which activites.

We are there the 11th - 21st so won't get a chance to try High Rock Springs at all but I am glad that I knew in advnace and have now requested CP....

OKW pool does look cool too! I just can't let it ruin our vacation.

huh. no new posts since February. I watched them close down the pool this weekend. It was getting kinda gross imo anyway. The big fence is a friggin eye sore though...

Well, you can see the bottom of the pool now....all water is gone. We're staying at the grandstand, and still having a good time. They had the movie screen up...played "The Pacifier", and other activities during the day at the grandstand pool. Not sure what's happening at the Congress Park pool. There are crowds in the parks, but still managable.

They closed the pool on Mon and really haven't done anything at all.
And the pool is supposed to look like that, not like a regular clear pool. But I agree it kinda is icky looking, like there is algae in there...

Not to bring up a sore spot with everyone...but has anyone heard of refurbs on the Grandstand pool? Just wondering if they were going to do all pools at SSR this year or not...since Grandstand is newer than High Rock Springs and the Congress Park pool.
