We have a dedicated 2 bed villa booked for October, which building would you most recommend?

Thanks!;)

I'd like to help, but what about building location makes your trips more desirable?
I believe Congress park can have nice views of DTD and the shortest walk to DTD east side, and has a quiet pool
Springs is in the middle of everything, so it is closest to the main pool
Grandstand is just about as close to the main areas as springs, but has a calmer view (surrounded by the golf course), has a pool with kid play area and pool bar, and is the first bus stop at SSR.

I think Springs would be the best, but they each seem to have their own benefits. Somewhere close to any pool is a huge bonus!

We stayed in Congress Park in the second to last building to DTD this passed spring. Less the a minute walk to a quiet pool, great views of the lake and DTD at night from the unit and the walk to DTD was only about 5 minutes so great if you want a late bit or evening entertainment... We found it to be our favorite for SSR but traveled with all adults whom would prefer the quiet pool to the main pool and evening entertainment. Good luck!

I stayed in the Grandstand for the first time on our last trip and just loved the location. I would request building 8100-8400 room range. Reasons:

1. Bus stop is just outside of the building. It is the first stop for the park busses and second for the DTD bus.

2. Grandstand pool is just on the other side of the building. They have the refillable mug station here.

3. It is a short, maybe 3-5 minute walk to the main pool, restaurants, etc.

Totally agree with Grandstand 8100-8400, based on a recent experience!

I have the same scenario and question. I'll be down there in a couple of weeks and just changed to GS from CP request, this is good information as I have stayed in springs prior. I noticed in few pictures that the splash area had a const fence around it. Is this still closed or is it now open?
