Hi everyone, we are taking our first DVC vacation. I have been reading about the benefits of each area at SSR. We're interested in going to Downtown Disney some and would like relatively easy access to a mug refilling station. I also think our daughter would like the splash pad. Are there multiple splash pads at SSR? Any insight is greatly appreciated!

We plan on making a request for a location through the early check in.

We stayed in the Paddock last Sept with my just turned two year old. It was perfect, the pool was right there, and it was just a 5 min walk to the carriage house (she was easily able to walk it herself a couple times). The splash area at the pool is perfect for toddlers, we loved that location!

That sounds great. She will be just over two when we go. Thanks!

I have always been partial to The Springs. Its got a pool with the kids area its across from The Carriage House and very close to the bus stop.

It has 1 minor draw back, if you are using WDW transportation it is the last pick up and last drop off on the route

We liked the Paddock area too, even though my kids did like the Springs pool better (DD10,DS11). The Paddock seemed a little quieter than the Springs, and we easily walked to and from the Carriage House. We actually loved the walk back and forth. The kids loved to spot the wildlife. Tons of birds and lizards near the water, turtles and even an "otter like critter". We requested the building closest to the bridge and got it. Easy access to the Paddock pool, refill station, quick service, and bridge to the Carriage House.

Just got back from SSR with my toddler- we were in the springs and thought it was convenient. He paddock was a short walk and we went to that pool/splash pad as well. Both were good for a little one but disliked that the springs was last on the bus, loop.
