SSR location prefrences

I was wondering how people who have gotten free upgrades have worked with room preference and location selection. SInce we had a free upgrade will our requests be ignored? also what section should I request. I was thinking congress park because of DTD or Grandstand (love the pool theme)
ANy sections to avoid?

Also with online 10day ahead check in, can you select location preferences?

Congress Park is ideal for being close to DTD, and great views, but these units see plenty of service - they may be showing more wear and tear.

Grandstand is great with it's own pool bar, and they are the newest units. First stop on the bus route.

Your location requests need to be made by phone, online check in has NO ability to make room location requests.

We like the Springs section of SSR, close to main pool with water slide, arcade and Artist Palate. Bad thing it's the last bus stop.

Luckily we have our car with us so bus stops dont matter.So its alright to do 10day advance check in and call. is this reliable?
