SSR GV for wedding - Help Please

Hello All - I could really use your help. We are getting married at Paddlefish and have a welcome party at HOB. Therefore, we will be at DS a lot. We have a 3 BR GV preferred reserved for 3 days.

I’ve been on touring plans, and it looks like I should be requesting rooms 1241 and 1207 because they are the closest to the walkway. However, since I’ve never stayed at SSR, I don’t know if I’m missing out on pros and cons. Could you help a novice with considerations so that I can weigh the factors and make a good decision? Much appreciated!!!

There is not a bad decision, keeping in mind that as a request it is not a guarantee. Closer to walkway can be noisier anyway.

We’ve stayed in the group of buildings closest to the walkway to DS in a GV. I don’t recall a room number, but ours overlooked the pool and there wasn’t any noise issues. Around the resort was pretty quiet and there wasn’t noticeable noise coming from DS inside the room. Outside you can hear some boat horns occasionally.
The only thing we disliked (and knew would be a thing before going) was that it’s a pretty long walk to the main building for breakfast. You can hop on a bus and get off at the main building, but they tended to be pretty crowded first thing in the morning.
