SSR Full-Service Restaurant to open July 1st.

Haven't been on the boards for awhile so not sure if this has been mentioned yet. The full service restaurant at SSR is scheduled to start service on July 1st. We looked at it and it appears they're almost done. The outside seating area is finished and the inside seating areas were being set up.

It's located just down the hall from Artist's Palette in the area of the old Turf Club Lounge. The new name of course if the Turf Club Bar & Grill, where the bar portion is the old lounge area, and the restaurant is off to the side. We couldn't get inside the restaurant area, but looking through the windows, it appears to be at least as large as Olivia's.

There was no menu posted so can't comment on what food items will be available.

Just FYI for those who might be headed down that way next month.

We're leaving in a day and a half, and will be there til July 2, so if it goes according to schedule, we'll try it out on our last night and let you all know how it was.

When we were there in June, they were working day and night to get it finished. So much so, I couldnt sneak back there and get a photo. I was there when they were installing the marble counters on the patio and unloading the furniture.

It is a very nice place! Nice size too. One CM said it ended up being larger than they expected.

The one drawback is we will no longer get the DDE Discount at Artist Palette now that SSR has a Table Service. Goodbye 20% off the Flatbread Special of the day

I wonder how long it will be before someone says (I think its to small for this size resort)
