SSR for Honeymoon

My Fi and I are taking our HM in Disney... and staying at SSR. Any advice? Any Spa/dining suggestions?

I don't think you guys will be disapointed!

SSR is an amazing resort (yes big) but I think the layout is very easy to understand, especially if your familiar with a map before you go!

We really enjoy the new Grandstand Section of the resort. It provides nice views of the golf course, has a close quiet pool with a pool bar area, and is the first bus stop to be picked up and dropped off. It's also one of the closer sections to the Main pool, Spa, and Carriage House w/eateries.

The Springs and Congress Park (with some rooms offering amazing views of DTD and PI) are also close to the Carriage House. Congress Park has a quiet pool as well and offers the quickest walk to DTD.

You can find the Spa offerings online via disneyworld.com and I've read really good things about the couples massage and couples instructional massage.

With easy access to DTD, keep some of those eateries in mind. The walk to DTD is really enjoyable and peaceful. You can find some great reviews on the dinning forum!

my allergies prevented me from enjoying SSR food court/restuarant. It also kept me out of most of the restuarants in DTD. but since there are so many I did find a place. (pepper, rye, oats)

remember to order some groceries. all SSR rooms have at least a kitchenett (studio).

for those nights when you don't want to go out to eat.

if you have a 1-bedroom and up - remember the bubble bath and candles....
