SSR dues

Has anyone received a second bill for SSR dues. I just received by mail from DVC a second bill for my dues, they billed me the wrong amount on 3 contracts and have billed me the difference. No problem with the fact I owe the difference, but what the cost is to us in our dues next year. Extra labor, paper and stamps. I guess it's good renters can't call MS, it helps with this extra cost to us.

I think our dues weren't quite right and figured I'd have to pay the difference eventually but haven't received anything yet. Hmmm...maybe I should check the website...

Well I've checked the DVC website and sure enough I owe an additional $179.76. I'm a little annoyed that I haven't received anything regarding this. Actually I never even received a paper dues bill in the mail--I just brought it up on the website early in January and paid it. Late today I will be calling member accounting regarding this to express my dismay that if I hadn't been surfing these boards then I would have never thought to check that part of their website and my February reservations would be in jeopardy. I think I'll bring up that I never recieved a bill in the mail too. Anyways I paid the difference--not a big deal. I also noticed that they didn't make the adjustments until 1/18 which is past the due date. They certainly need to extend a grace period for members since this appears to be a very big goof up on their part. Thanks mikron for posting otherwise I would have showed up at WLV finding out my reservation might have been cancelled.

I am happy that mikron posted about this also - I never would have noticed it otherwise. I called Member Services just now to get an explanation. The person I spoke with told me that there was an error made in the 2006 Property Tax calculation on a number of SSR contracts. (The error is in the Rate for the line 2006 Property Tax - Actual. On mine it had this Rate as 0.0099, but the correct rate is actually 0.8659). He said they mailed out new corrected Annual Dues Statements on Monday (Jan 22). The person I spoke to in Accounting assured me the information online for my account is correct. He also assured me that any mixup in payments caused by this error would not affect vacation reservations.

Count us in too! I found out about this when I called because our payment wasn't taken out of our bank account on Jan. 16th. I still haven't received the second statement.
