SSR-DTD transsportation?

What's the best way to get to DTD from SSR without too much walking? Is it a long walk to the boat dock (I'll be coming from the Preview Center)? And exactly where is DTD does the SSR boat go to? I've heard that some boats go to the dock by the Rainforest, but some go over by the West Side? And if it goes to the West Side, how far a walk is it from there to the World of Disney compared to the walk from the Rainforest?

The boats from SSR to DTD go to the West Side dock. The West Side dock is all the way down by the House of Blues at the very end of the West Side.

There are also busses between SSR and DtD. They will drop you off either at the Marketplace (near the Christmas shop) or by Planet Hollywood.

To get to the boat dock at SSR:
Turn right out of the exit from the preview center main lobby area.
Walk towards the water/canal behind the golf pro shop.
You will see the boat dock.
It is about 50 to 75 yards from the preview center.

It looks to me like the bus is the way to go. Looking at the map, it looks like the House of Blues stop for the boat is way too far. Do many people really take the boat to go shopping at DTD since they made this change?

Yes the Springs is the closest to the dock. It is still a little bit of a walk but not bad...unless it is raining!

There are also boats which shuttle between the West End and Marketplace docks.
