SSR coffee pot question

do they supply you with enough coffee and filters for your entire stay or do they only allow you a certain amount. i am a big coffee drinker, i do drink a pot a day, so running out of coffee is something that cannot happen to me

if i need to bring extra supplies i will. what kind of filters do they use. cone or basket

They only give you coffee for the first day so you have to supply the rest. I believe it is a basket filter. One thing I am going to try is one of the brands make coffee in packets now (and not just single serve). I know they definitely had it in WD in FLA.

It depends. If you request Full service housekeeping (and pay for it ) you'll have coffee packs & creamers/sugars each day. Otherwise, on the 4th day of your stay with Trash n Towel service those items will be replaced.

You'll start out with one caf and one decaf packet with coffee prepackaged in the filter. They are basket type.

Maxwell House makes coffee in a filter pack, which you can get at any supermarket. Now, I am a big coffee drinker, too, but a friend told me yesterday that coffee increases your chances of getting osteoporosis in middle age. Of course, I am somewhat protected by being "large boned"...

We forgot the coffee filters on our last trip! The second morning I woke up and no coffee filters. DH saved the day by making a filter from paper towels. He was very conscientious and by some miracle, no grounds came through. He is the MacGyver of coffee makers!

thanks for your replies. i was planning on packing extra coffee anyway but now i know it is a neccessity. the info on basket filters is definitly invaluable. i have done the paper towel thing many times myself. neccessity is the mother of invention.

No more decalf ..only regulare. We were just at SSR 6/7 - 6/14 and that is what we were told.

Need coffee,need coffee, need coffee Yes ,the pre packaged filters work great and no need for papertowels. We always make a pot in the A.M. and it leaves time for making the kids breakfast. Otherwise they wouldn't eat!

We checked out on 6/10 from SSR and we had decaf and caf.

Just back and we didn't have decaf. I normally drink decaf, not that it was a big deal I prefer a better grad of coffee than the packs.

Winn Dixi is a hop skip and a jump and I bet the shop at Artist Pallet has filters, I didn't check but other DVC places have had them when I was in need.
