SSR Best Studio with a View

Hi All! 3 weeks to go, getting excited despite how many times we've gone. We're staying at SSR in a studio. Can someone recommend a room with a great view of the water and DTD? Can't wait!!!

We went Spring Break last year and stayed in the Grandstand building. We really enjoyed it. There was no view of DTD but there was a view of the golf course and it had a nice pool right there and a very short walk to the main pool which was sooo nice. We spent a night at the main pool after AK and they had a movie playing by the pool.
Plus, the bus stop was right there and it was the first stop. We never waited very long for a bus. I loved SSR, its a huge resort. We also stayed in a studio and it was nice. There were 2 adults and 2 kids (5 and 9 yrs old).
You will have a great time!!

CP has most of the DTD views but none are guaranteed. Even if you request a particular section, that isn't guaranteed especially if you're there during a busy time.

We stay at SSR a lot (just got back a week ago) and we always book a studio as cash guests and most times we get upgraded to a 1 bedroom.

I usually request a particular section but not a particular room and all but 1x we got the section I requested. I have found all of the views including the garden views to be quite nice and relaxing. I much prefer the upgrade to the 1 bedroom than the view.

congress park best view of dtd but only time we got it was first year ,but to be
truthful if i could go in 3 weeks i would sleep under newspapers on one of the benches.

The first time we stayed at SSR we had a wonderful DTD view. It was the very last building(closest to the DTD walkway and furthest from the main area) and the room number was 1105. It doesn't do much good to request a specific room but maybe you could request that building with a DTD view and hope for the best!
