SSR - bell services question

Is it safe to assume that I can pull up to the Carriage House and drop my luggage off with Bell Services to have it delivered to my room later? And vice-versa for check out? I drive and have always just handled my own luggage, but thanks to a bad back I'd rather not do it myself next trip.

Also, assuming the above is true, about how long do they take from phone call to door knock to deliver luggage? Anything else I should know?

Yes, they will take care of your bags! It should not take too long, they will probably use a golf cart.

I think it's variable at all the resorts, but when we were at SSR last month, they were really fast at both delivering and picking up our bags when we called (like 10 minutes, I'd say). Same thing at VWL a few days earlier - we really had great bell service on our last trip!
