3. Want something right now and/or want a specific use year and specific number of points. Resale takes time and effort. It can be intimidating to those unfamilar with it - kind of like buying a used car.
4. Seldom book more than 7 months in advance so home resort doesn't matter. Sales guide told them most people don't book more than 6 months in advance and that they'd almost cetainly be able to stay at OKW whenever they want.

A big one for many people buying in now is that the "ending year" has adjusted for SSR to be an additional 12 years of ownership. I find that to be rather enticing as well as the points Carol brought up.
