I think if it got out of hand where members couldn't get their home resort at 7-months at all anymore, that DVC would then have to change the rules.

You know going in that you have 4 months before all others can try. I would be shocked if DVC ever changed this, it is one of their selling points.

My OP is you don't book your home resort by 7 months then you lose, its all part of knowing you have to plan a little.
