In my happy searchs in getting ready for my trip in May... I figured I would ask a few questions.

1) I see on the offical DVC website, that each bath room only has one sink. But when I went to another web site. I beleive Allears... they had a picture of a two bedroom bath, with two sinks. Any care to share? Does this have to do with dedicated vs non-dedicated?

2) Which would you do.. with these people traveling... It is my parents (mom and dad), my mother in law, and my wfie and I. I was thinking of placing my parents in the studio section of the 2br (whether it is dedicated or not). Then wife and I get bigger bedroom, and mother in law sleeps in center room. Mother in law is early riser.

3) Any suggestions... should I get dedicated, or non-dedicated? I believe I have a dedicated reserved now...

4) Are any of them closer to the main pool area? My father had a triple bypass two years ago... and that is a far walk from some buildings.

I've stayed in both a dedicated 2 bedroom and also a studio at SSR. Both times we had 2 sinks in both bathrooms (master has 2 separate rooms for bath).

You'll find the Springs location to be closest to the main building/lobby/food court/pool/etc.

As Tina said, there are two bathrooms - two sinks. I personally would get the non-dedicated. That way your mom and dad can have their own suite. It will have a bed, sofa, small table and chairs with a "mini" kitchen. A dedicated has two beds - no kitchen. The non-dedicated has its own entrance. A dedicated two bedroom has only one.

SSR is a beautiful resort and lovely furnishings. Enjoy your vacation. :goodvibes

I guess I would differ. Since you want MIL to be on a pull-out. Maybe you would want the dedicated 2 bedroom because some people don't do well on pull-out sofas.

If you have the dedicated, you have 2 beds in the second bedroom. It wouldn't be ideal for 2 different families sharing space, but if the person isn't getting any sleepon the pull-out, maybe worth re-thinking.

Or have the two parent familes rotate who is stuck on the pull-out.
The people on the pull-out are in limbo, since they don't have "their own" bathroom. They really don't have a place to keep all their stuff, and everyone else will have direct access to the bathroom.

So, make sure you discuss which batheroom they are going to have access too. I would let the person who is getting the sofa know ahead of time. I would want to know if I got stuck on the pull-out. Plus the person on the pull-out, has to put it back together every morning, else their is no living room space.

Also, is the early riser also the person who goes to bed first. Are the rest of the group, all going to be done watching tv and talking in the "family" area when that person is already in bed.

What does the early riser do first thing in the morning. Do, they make breakfast, take a walk, site see, etc. may want to think out the whole situation a little more.

Best of luck

Another thing to consider....

In the dedicated two-bedroom, since there is no kitchenette, there is more closet space. When both beds are used this extra storage space comes in quite handy. We were just in that part of the two-bedroom with our two teenagers and it worked quite well. I wouldn't have liked it if it was a studio.

If only using one bed then it's nice to have the extra sit down and relax space that the studio portion of the non-dedicated will have.
