SSH - Don't Tell - It's a Secret!

I ordered a Disneyland Walk of Memories Brick for my family! My mom has been going to Disneyland since 1955 and whenever we came back to the States (grew up in the Navy) we went to Disneyland. Disneyland is home for us. I've been thinking about getting a brick, but the final deadline got me to finally make the call (on the last day ) The brick will be installed in August. I received the certificate today and will make copies for everyone and give them to each family (there are 5 families in all) for Christmas, along with a replica of the brick. I can't wait!!

The final deadline was a while ago, but the certificate and map just arrived.

I did the same thing! My girls don't know it was even available, but every trip we read the bricks around us while we wait in line. The brick will be installed in August and our first trip after that will be in late September, so I think I'm going to have us arrive later than normal our first morning and just casually stop in that section to find something in my pocket or whatever and see if they spot it (we love to read the bricks while we wait in line), or if I have to actually point it out, lol.

The replica is due in the mail any day now...and that may be the hardest part....I get to look at it but then I have to hide it away if I want to keep the secret.

I'm going to have a hard time keeping this secret. My CA family will get to see it when I'm out there for the Disneyland Half, though. They'll have to keep the secret until Christmas, but I'll have an easier time, having been able to tell someone! Congrats to you, too!

I hope you'll be able to go back again after June. The brick is "guaranteed" for 10 years, I think. I'm going in September, so, if you want, I'd be happy to try to find it and photograph it in situ for you. You'll have to remind me at the time, though, because I guarantee that I will forget by then. Every trip, on my way home, I remember all the things I wanted to do, but forgot in the excitement of being there.
