I did this offer in Sept. Got my books and have even sent back a set of books and canceled. I have never gotten credit with SR. Anyone else done this offer and gotten credit? I usually keep very good records of all offers I do but I don't have anything in my records about this one. I thnk I didn't write anything down because to cancel all you had to do is send the bill back marked "cancel".

Yes, I did this one & got credited--I think it was pretty quickly after I did it too.

You can always try putting in a trouble ticket at the SR site to see if they can track it down.

Thanks for the info, I put in a trouble ticket. Did you have to send a group of books back??

I ended up having to send a group of books back because Harlequin sent them out almost immediately after I received my first shipment. The first shipment took FOREVER to get here, and by then, the second was on its way. It was charged to my credit card two weeks before I received it. I called them and they told me to send it back unopened and that I would receive credit once that happened.

And I did get credit pretty quickly. The one I'm still waiting on is Video Professor.

I was also charged about two weeks before the books arrived. I e-mailed them and they credited my account very quickly. I mailed the books that were not part of the offer back after they credited my account. How long did it take you to get SR credit?

I got credit for this one very quickly (within a couple of days). They sent the initial shipment and I immediately sent back the card with "cancel" written on it. I haven't been charged anything and haven't received anything else from them so I guess I did successfully cancel. But, wasn't there supposed to be a shipping charge for this? Like $1.99 or something like that? I keep waiting for it to be charged but it hasn't happened yet.

I sent my card in to cancel as soon as I received the initial shipment--I haven't seen any charges or received any others, so I'm guessing it went through fine. I didn't have to send back the initial books.

I was credited for that one in a couple of days after doing the offer.

I'm still waiting on Video Professor too. I've already gotten my CDs, returned the one & gotten canceled--& I think it was over a week ago. I put in a Trouble Ticket, but haven't heard anything--I really hope that one credits as it was a bit of an expense. {sorry to hijack your thread}

Yes, I apologize for the hijack, too! :blush: I also hope it credits, as the credit is worth $13 (well, actually $6 after the $7 fee).

Back to the original topic, the Harlequin offer showed up about 4 days later.

I am so sorry for starting this whole thing. I found my credit and I had done the offer earlier than I thought. I will try to keep better records. I guess I just need a Disney trip to clear my mind.
