I was wondering if anyone else had any problems getting credit after doing the FreeBidding.com ofer which was $10.00 and is now $6?
I cleared my cookies and did the offer received the confirmation and my credit card was charged. But never received my points.
I did e- and send the confirmation and asked but she said it didnt look good.
I e-mailed back as I dont understand what that means and have not heard back yet??
I have not been a member of Sunshine for very long but from this board it is a reputable site so I dont know what the problem might be.

I did not get an e-mail but today when I went on SR my credit from Free Bidding was there
Now I have to get enough for the monthly special
:cheer2:

I feel your pain!

I have the same thing going on with My Points for 1000 points...............................

Did you save your confirmation?

I wish you luck!

Same here, card was charged NEVER rec'd a confirmation, never rec'd credit for bidding.com or stamps.com, was hoping to get the credits last month, only can hope I get them by the end of this month.

I haven't gotten my FreeBidding credit yet. I have the confirmation email that I have forwarded to Sunshinegirl--still waiting to hear. My card was charged & everything--this was during the 10.00 period.

I also never got a credit for stamps.com during the first round. I followed all the directions, downloaded the program & everything. But apparently it didn't go through correctly.

I'm also waiting on an AOL music credit that I did on July 21.

I think other than that most of my bigger credits have gone through with SR.

I'm also having a ton of problems with things crediting from Sunshine Rewards. Tricia has been good about emailing me letting me know that her hands are tied because she's not getting credited for them either, but it's so frustrating knowing I signed up for things and am missing almost $30 in credits. It's making me nervous about signing up for other things.

I know what you mean about signing up for other things--on a different rewards site--NOT SR--I did the tickle.com test, paid my $9.95 & got credited my $30.00. Then a couple of days ago it was reversed. So now I'm out $10 with nothing to show for it. I don't think I'll be using that particular site anymore.

I just looked through my account at SR. I was credited for the Nestle Kids (25 cents) back in June, and I got the 2 credits for signing up with online photo processors. That's it. Nothing else has credited. I'm extremely careful to run adaware, spybot, my virus scanning, clear cookies several times a day, etc.
I get junk mail from places I signed up with, but no credit.
In fact, unless my making a purchase was involved (like Snapfish) at ANY of the reward sites I never get credit.

I've stopped signing up for newsletters and such unless I want it without getting credit.

I get tons of emails from CR wanting me to do surveys, etc. Several people told me that all I'll get is junk mail and never get credit, so I just delete them.
When I first signed up with CR I was stupid and did a few surveys. Never got credited, but now get a ton of junk email.

I feel bad for the reward sites who post this crap and never get credited in order to pay the people who signed up. Those shady offer people then sell your personal info to others.

The ones I'm missing are Dot Photo and Tickle Dream test.

I know the order with Dot went through because I've received my pictures, and my CC was charged. At least I got something for that: my photos.

The Tickle one I wish I'd never done. They charged me the fee for my 'interpretation' but my credit never came through.

These places seem to be really good at making sure the credit card charges go through, don't they? Haven't heard anyone say that they forgot to charge you the money! LoL!

But the offers that don't credit seem to not be consistent though. I got my credit pretty fast from SR when i signed up with FreeBidding and Stamps.com. Yet, those are the ones you had trouble with. Others probably got theirs for the ones I'm lacking.

I wish I understood better how these rewards deals work. :confused3

I did get credit for the Dot Photo one, I wonder why it did not work for you :-(

I can try to explain a little bit. Essentially when you click on a rewards program link for anything at all (shopping, offers, etc), a cookie gets set on your computer for that product or store. As you move through the offer and get to the very last page of it (as determined by the merchant), there will be a little invisible image on that page that looks at your cookie. If the cookie and the image match up, it will register in a database with the advertiser that you did what you were supposed to do. Then the advertiser reports your username/email address/whatever back to the rewards program and pays out.

If any of those steps does not work exactly right on your computer, the advertiser will not pay. Or if they already have you in their database as having signed up for an offer in the past. Or if you have any kind of toolbars or spyware on your computer that route your links through another company. Or if you cancel within the first 24 hours of signing up (depending on the offer). So even if you signed up and did just what you were supposed to do, they don't pay us.

With shopping sites, rewards programs generally work directly with the merchant. So if you forward me a Disney Shopping confirmation that you did not get credit for, I can just email my contact at Disney and they can look up the sale. If they find it, the usually give us credit. But with the offers, we don't work directly with the merchants. So we pretty much have to take their word on things. Every once in awhile, we can get them to look things up for us. But it is few and far between that I actually get the credits when I do that.

That's pretty much it in a nutshell. A good rewards program will weed out the programs that hardly ever pay (like less than 75% or more of the time). Too much information? LOL!

I haven't gotten credit from that one either, nor Driving4Dollars. It's only been 10 days though - not sure how long they take to credit. I did cancel in less than 24 hours, but they were one day trials so it was necessary to do so.
