Squirts, Shirts, & Flirts...The Legend Continues (TR started 6-23)

Glad you had a great trial Run

That looks almost identical to my mom's camper

Nice and roomy :thumbsup2

LOVE the calendar!!! Great idea letting him replace the number with Disney stickers. :thumbsup2

The trial run looks like it was fun. That camper is really nice!!!
yeah he loves it, he runs and picks up his stickers first then goes and tears down the mickey head. thanks, we have always enjoyed camping.

Ok, great! I just sent you a PM. We'd love to meet up with you guys too. I wonder if ours plus Glen's schedules cross anywhere that week? I'll have to go back and look at Glen's again too. It's just been crazy over here with end of school coming up. I haven't been able to look over everything the way I usually do when planning a trip. I also need to make my Garden Grocer order!!
yeah crazy here too, cant believe we are down to about 3 weeks till we go.. it is exciting but have alot to finish before we leave.

Suh-weet! Nice home-away-from-home and pickup!

We camped a lot when I was growing up and I noticed that you used some of words to describe this trailer that I wouldn't have used to describe our little Fan travel trailer. Phrases like:

If we had any "areas" they were just designated with a curtain! :rotfl2:

These trailers have come a long way. Glad it was a good trial run. You're going to have a great time camping at Disney. Don't worry about Parker -- he'll be fine. Get him tired enough and he'll sleep great.
yeah, it has changed alot since camping first started, you should see some of the new campers at the shows they have, fireplaces with tv's that come out of the cabinets behind the fireplaces.

have you thought about camping again?

great trial run!!!!!!!!!!!:cool1:
thanks we had a great time, my parents are going camping again this weekend.
but not us...we have alot of stuff
That trailer looks really nice!
thanks, it is nice and homey while away from home.

That is an awesome camper! :cool1: My friend and her husband have a camper and they asked us to go with them this summer. They go almost every weekend. I am glad that Parker liked his bed.

I'm not that old, that I've been around since camping first started (but it has really improved since the invention of fire I admit, it kinda sucked before that).

Those campers sound amazing.

have you thought about camping again?

In a couple of weeks James and I are going on a weekend campout with Christian Service Brigade (kind of like scouts, but through church). There'll be a couple of trailers and some tents -- not sure which we'll get yet. My back is hoping for a trailer!

I've thought about camping with the family, but the whole idea of packing and getting everything ready and driving and setting up and tearing down and preparing meals and being wet and dirty and smoky gives me a :headache:. Plus, I have nowhere to store a trailer.

haha i did not mean that you were as old as camping itself, i was just saying that even in the last 10 years they are changing so much.

that weekend trip sounds fun, we have those around here, most of its tents, but a few dads bring campers.

some even have moms come along that prepare all the meals so the dads dont have to worry about it with the boys.

i cant wait to take parker.

tents dont take up storage.
:thumbsup2

we did that for a while candi and I we had a blast

I'm totally late but I'm all in! Parker is soooo big- and what a cutie!!!! You guys are going to have a great time!!!

Wow, that trailer looks AMAZING! It's always been a dream of mine to camp in one. I like small compact spaces.

I would expect that an RV would cost more than a trailer, right? I've been considering renting an RV. But the overall cost of gas seems way too high.

Looks like a great trial run trip! Glad Parker did good in the bed. He's such a cutie! :goodvibes

What fun you are going to have-the camper is so nice! I love your calender too. We are so close for our trips-yeah:cheer2:
I love seeing your pics preparing for the trip-I love details!

well, your cheapest are the pop ups and small travel trailers, between6-20 thousand.

then you go with the longer travel trailers and then to the fifth wheels which is what my dad has.
the 5th wheels range from high 20's to 100'000 and up.

RV's the ones you drive can get kinda pricey, if you stay close to home camping in one, the gas is not that bad.

hope i helped some

candi was really happy he did well, and he will be extra tired each day there so he shoudl zonk out pretty fast.

It is probably about an hour away. I'm not sure where we would go. I know that she mentioned Potato Creek.
we love potato creek, it is our go to spot...im going a few times this summer there.

I want to come...have an extra bed for an Asian that loves to snore..;)
sure, the bathroom has a tub for you.

well, we do have an extra bunk above parker, or the couch folds down as well as the table to sleep on.
:thumbsup2
and candi tells me i snore as well, so we can make music

i know i was at my parents last night and my dad goes, you know we leave in 3 weeks from today, how cow it hit me, it is coming up fast, and we still have alot of things planned between now and then, so it will go even faster for us.

Not only is today the 17th, but it is also 17 days until our trip
:banana::dance3::cheer2:

on a different note, great grandma will no longer be coming on the trip with us. she is 87 and doing pretty good for her age, her arthritis which she has had for a while is acting up again, and she does not think she will like to sit in the truck for that long.

also, the doctor has her one oxygen to give her some more energy while doing her daily activities, and that would be too much to take all of that with, she has a big machine in her living room that she uses at home with a long cord that she can walk anywhere around the house and use, and that would be a problem taking that with us.

so she is just going to stay home and my aunt for GA willcome and visit her here.

Wow! 17 is like, really close!

Aw, too bad great grandma won't be able to tag along. That would have been special.
