Reminds me of a trip down South we made when judy was an early teen!!We set out in our Green staion wagon and half way ther Judy pipes up with "All we need is Gramdma strapped to the roof and we would be on VACATION"!!!! We rolled then !! It was here first ever night in a hotel and she asked to stay alone while we went to eat !! When we returned she was coming outta another room !! Turns out the toilet over flowed and she had them move her !! My ex thought she had rented her own room!!!

Trivia and more disney mail

well got my second disney gift card in the mail yesterday,

that brings my total to a 78 dollar one from visa

and a 250 one and a 100 dollar one from my sunshine rewards...just waiting on one more.


trivia time.

in the honey i shrunk the kids play area, stick your hand in the dogs nose, thats all i will say.

when you are on the streets of america there is a venture travel service there, there is a picture of walt and lillian disney standing there holding an original mickey mouse plush doll.

as you approach, the muppets, from the star tours area, there is a planter of flowers. one of hte planters is an ice cream sunda instead of filled with flowers, you might even see a spoon in there.

if you want to ride star tours, and dont like the motion sickness, if they are not busy ask a CM for a flight check ride. They might run it for you without the motion and only the video going.

Nice update! That's awesome that your gandma gets to tag along for the road portion of your trip. Even if it is on the roof. In which case we expect pictures.

Hi Dan, I have read all of your TRs and PTRs previously. I loved the stories and pictures and appreciate all the time and personal memories you share with us. It was really neat when Candi added her own commentary. I was all caught up, including the trivia and replies until page 31 when you went on a 2 day conference and then I somehow lost track. I finished up now and am all caught up and thought I should reply finally.
We are going June 6 to 13, but it looks like our itineraries are totally opposite. We are not at any of the same parks or restaurants at the same time. Isn't that crazy?! I am at an advantage though, because I know what you all look like, so if I see you I will say hello.
I will be around now until we both leave bothering you and reading along.

i hope to stay at the WL as well, but we are staying at the Fort Wilderness Campground.

but we do have a meal at the WL and parker will love playing with the table.

it really is, she loves having things to look forward to...and we always try and schedule things for her to do with family, she had 6 kids, 1 passed away a few years ago, so the 5 that are left always try and have things for her to do to keep her busy...she gets to travel alot to there houses for the ones that live out of state and the ones who live around here, keep her busy other times.

Not sure if i mentioned it or not, but we also got our Disney Maps in the mail the other day.

Parker loved them, he put the stickers that they provide on all of the maps...he loved looking at them.

We also watched the 2010 planning DVD that we got 2 days ago. (even thought the trip is planned, i still ordered it a few weeks ago) For the first like 5 minutes he just staired at the TV without blinking. and was getting excited for parts of it.

when we watched the part on the resorts and FW he ran and got his chip and dale stuffed animals to show them to themselves on the screen, i had to keep rewinding it for him.





a little more trivia to knowledgify you on this friday.(is that a word)

as you pass the entrance to indiana jones, to the left of the entrance, go down the path on the right hand side there is a well, pull the rope. pull it.

by echo lake, there is a building called cosmetic dentristy,
the building next to it, has a FOR RENT sign in it, not much on its own, well, when Walt and Roy were starting out, they rented a studio space above the Holly Vermont Realty company. look below the FOR RENT sign, the logo on the door is that of the realty company, honering walt and roys starting studio location.


moving on to AK, all the benches are made of recycled milk jugs.

there is a tall thin tree to the left of the parking, lot which is actually a cell phone tower in desguise.
