well, the year before my older stepson and his family were there with dh and the boys (I'd just started a job and couldn't go). My oldest step son is in the navy and keeps his head shaved. My youngest decided he wanted his shaved too. My dumb husband let him do it. I hated it....but he does have a good shaped head. The next year the middle boy decided it was his turn.his head is ....uh......not so nicely shaped

I was perusing the Trip Report board for interesting TRs to read during lunch and the title of this one caught my eye, the "bald update." And while I certainly applaud your baldness for a cause, as a member of the balding (not bald!) community, I'm kind of jealous of guys who intentionally shave their heads. Cause you know it's coming back. I don't have that confidence.
Nevertheless, I've gotten through the first few chapters of your TR. I don't believe I've ever read a TR from someone at FTWilderness. Looking forward to seeing how it all unfolds.
