Squirts, Shirts, and Flirts, The Legend Continues 2 weeks in FW(wrap up #2 new 11-17)

I am looking forward to our first WaterParks and more passes next year !!I know the girls will love the water parks and we will never get Kyle out of DQ!!!!:rotfl2:
you will love it, they are alot of fun, and we always look forward to going back to them.

this was my first year in DQ and i thought it was alot of fun, wish we had more time in there but it was a good test to see what it is like.

Sorry to see that Parker had such a time with the fairies. I love Fawn's face in that one picture! :rotfl:
i know i love that picture, her face is priceless...its like a what am i to do now face.

So funny Mr. Parker was freaked out by the fairies! He usually likes the "real" people characters! Maybe it was the strange surroundings. Cute how the pixie dust worked with Terrance! :goodvibes

Wonder what it was about the fairies that freaked him out so. That one picture of Fawn is so cute like ok, I've done everything I can think of & this child is still upset.....why isn't my cuteness working?

yeah i think it was just too much overload on senses with all the stuff going on. thanks, he did a good job with him...terrance wasnt over the top excited which i think played well with parker also.

im thinking combo of the loudness from them, and everything in the room.

i love that picture, her face is priceless, it could be a t shirt with your quote under it.

When I went to see the fairies, ( It was on my to do list before toon town goes away) I was a bit overwhelmed. They directed me but it was a bit much. In fact, I remember I had trouble getting out!!! I guess missed the direction of going through the door that leads you back to the hallway. It looked just like an emergency door ( which it is ) that should NOT be touched. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Quick thinking on the light stick. You get a gold star for that one!!!:thumbsup2

I've just joined & all caught up reading!

1st of all- You have a gorgeous family! The wife, parents & of course Parker!
The pictures of FW are great, it looks like such a fun place to stay.
Aren't the photopass photographers the best in the waterparks!! They took some of the best pictures ever of my kids playing when we went.

You're TR is so much fun to read & I can't wait to read more!

yeah it is a weird setup, you would think that they have mastered the princess room, what would be so hard about the fairies, but hopefully it will be solved when they get pixie hallow finished in the expansion.

Chapter 15. Storming the Barn

After the faires we headed across the street for parkers first rollercoaster ride.

I like the themeing of the ride and the waiting area, luckily the line was very short, we walked up to the front and waited for people to unload from the car and got on.

here are the flight lessons.

and some pictures of parkers first ride.

pulling out of the station.

and a shot of the back from my dads camera.

going on the hills.

his face is saying not to sure about this thing.
DSC01008.jpg

then i got a video of him riding and it is hard to hear but he does start laughing on it.

when we pulled into the station he did not want to get out at all...he started crying and wanted to stay on, there was no one in line so we ended up walking back around and riding again.

you could tell he really liked it on this second trip, he was cracking up the whole time.

after that it was time for the speedway this line was a little long but managable, it was maybe 15 minutes....candi stayed off with the stroller, so i rode in front of them and took video and pictures of them.

let me tell you it was quite the ride, i wasnt stearing i had hte video in one hand and the digital in the other and was turned around the whole time, i was bouncing off that middle guide rail like....well lets just leave it at that.

the picture doesnt really show how bad it is,
DSC01015.jpg

but when candi watched the video of it, she got dizzy.:lmao:

next up was buzz lightyear, we had fast passes from earlier in the day so we just walked right on, maybe 1 minute wait. alot better than the 40 minutes posted

parker got the hang of the gun really fast.
DSC01022.jpg

he didnt do bad, all those 6000 points were his.
DSC01024.jpg

after this our stomachs were getting hungry so we decided to get parker some corn puppies from caseys corner which was very cool in there, it was the first time i have ever been in there and i enjoyed it.
DSC01030.jpg

very cool themed...and we then took his lunch back over to cosmic rays to eat with the rest of the family...the steak sandwiches were very good..im glad they brough them back a few trips in the last 5 years they took themoff the menu...so i was in heaven...

it was very crowded in there so we ate on the upper deck away from sunny eclipse.

you can see the steak sandwiches in the background my dad wanted a picture of his brownie.

our afternoon adventures are next...but right now its time to hit the road and go camping.

Fun update! Makes me sad that the boys were too old to get into the Barnstormer. I love the theming of it!

Casey's looks great! Didn't make it in there (again) so nice to see pics of the inside.

p.s. TR is up!

Good to see Parker's all smiles again! The barnstormer is pretty fun, but unfortunately I will probably have to wait for grandchildren to get to ride that one again. (I think it is going to still be around after all of the Fantasyland upgrades/changes). :confused3

I have to do the cars every now and then. It is one of those rides I remember doing as a kid with my parents, so it is fun to relive that tie to the past. (I just can't remember if it was a C ticket, or a D ticket, or???)

Great job by Parker getting the 6000 all by himself. :thumbsup2 That is pretty close to how good Glenn does on Buzz (after building in an age adjustment). Come to think of it, that might just be how good Glenn does period! :rotfl:

We enjoyed Casey's! It is a great place to grab something to go and pick your spot nearby for Spectro and Wishes. Helps pass the time until the show starts. Hoping MSEP will still be going when we get back after Christmas so we can hit Casey's and grab a seat nearby to see it!

Great brownie your Dad had. That's what I call a brownie!!! :woohoo: I've got to remember to grab a seat near Sonny Eclipse when we go to MK next time! We usually are too busy looking for a table anywhere to think about taking in his show!

BTW, I really enjoyed the last TR update also, even though Parker and those fairies just didn't get along too well. I was just too full of popcorn to be able to comment! :rotfl2:

That's great that Parker came around to liking Barnstormer. In some of those early pictures he looked a little concerned.

Your driving the speedway car without looking is just getting you prepared for a couple of years from now when Parker is driving you on it. Believe me, I know...James drove me last year. He was merciless to that middle rail.

Thanks for the Casey's picture. I've never been in there.

so glad Parker ending up liking Barnstormer

Trent was same way...unsure and then loved it and didnt want to get off :rotfl2:

What is that on your shirt to the left? Is that a disney bus?

:goodvibes

no please do post your water park pics, im sure you werent wearing a brazilian thong at them:rolleyes1

hope you find your pictures your missing.

nope, they appear to be gone, like the photopass guy didn't scan it right. It's only 2 pics but it bums me out.

And no, no brazillian thong. That would have cleared out the park. :rotfl:

Aww, so fun to see Parker enjoying his first roller coaster ride! :cool1: We were just asking our DGS, Mason, 3 about the roller coaster at DL he went on last Oct - he was 2 then he loved it! DS says it is really more fun that it looks - guess I'll have to hitch a ride with one of the grandkids sometime!

Glad that Parker ended up enjoying his first coaster! We took my 4 yr old nephew to Dorney Park yesterday and had him go on the log flume. He was fine...until the hill. Then the 'I want to get off!' screaming ensued. But a half hour later, he said he liked it. :confused3:laughing:

Cute pictures of Parker on his first roller coaster!

Tell your Dad that brownie looked really yummy.

Parker looks to have the makings of a true thrill seeker. Love the pictures of him laughing.

We haven't done Casey's since 2002. We really need to stop in there. Cosmic Rays in one of our favorites. We usually sit in the Sunny area. We like a little entertainment with our food.

...the steak sandwiches were very good..im glad they brough them back a few trips in the last 5 years they took themoff the menu...so i was in heaven...

I've been skipping Cosmic Rays since I discovered the steak sandwiches weren't there - the boys would rather go to Pecos Bills for that kind of food and without the steak sandwiches, I didn't really care. Glad to hear they are back :woohoo:

And here's a little story about "You know you are on the DIS too much when....." You are sitting in Cincinnati (6 hours away from home) at a Cubs-Reds game and somebody walks up the aisle by your seats. You spend several minutes trying to figure out how you know them, or who they remind you of, when you discover they look like the wife of a Dis-poster whose thread you are following. Yep, there was a pretty blonde, who had the same hairstyle as Candi, looked probably about the same age - I must have spent the better part of an inning racking my brain trying to figure out who she was. The worst part was, that I asked my husband - thinking it was someone we both knew, or maybe someone on a TV show.....when I realized who it was......I did not admit it to him. :rolleyes1

you could always force them on it.:thumbsup2

i wish we would have went into the tv room in the back but we just got our food and headed out, it will for sure be a stop in the future for meals, it was good food and pretty cheap.

yeah i think that actually might have beaten glenns score on there.

actually i didnt think those brownies were that good, something about them was just off, they looked really good, but didnt really hit the spot.

normally we always do hit up by sonny, but for some reason they allready had there seats picked out up there.

thats okay, i hope it had a good amount of butter on the popcorn.
popcorn::

yeah i can hardly wait for it, i might need to take the advil before that ride.

that was my first time in caseys as well.
i will be back for sure the food was good and pretty cheap.

:goodvibes
yep he hated getting off, took some good bribing to keep him calm when it was over.

those are the shirts we made up, they are the disney trains, a lady on the DIS designed them for us, my dad had the engine, us other three adults had the cars, and parke had the caboose.

ill look for a closer picture for the next update.

nope, they appear to be gone, like the photopass guy didn't scan it right. It's only 2 pics but it bums me out.

that stinks, we lost a few in the water park, so we went to a desk and had hte lady add them on for us, it worked out great, we just gave her the locatoin and the rough time we were ther eand she found them in 1 minute.

it is alot of fun, the turns are fun and hearing all hte kids giggle is great.

you should take a ride with them, it was walk on both days we did it.
