We are four adults going in Aug, and we are talking about this dinner show. Can anyone tell me about this show, the food and anything else we should know. TIA :flower3:

It's a non-character show. Traditional island dancing, music, and the highlight is toward the end when they dance and do the tricks with the fire sticks.

You are seated in a covered area, but outside. You're in the shade and won't get wet if it rains, but it's not an air conditioned environment.

The show is entertaining, but not a spactacular cant miss type. I'd go back, but not every year.

Food is excellent - Ribs were especially good. Beer and house wine is included in the price of the dinner.

I'd definitely do it at least once. The food is pretty good, and it's a pretty entertaining show. It's something fun to experience. I don't return every trip, but every couple years I get a yearning to do it again.

There are some photos up on the Poly FAQ Thread here.

The show was nice. If your paying regular and not with the dining plan, I may consider it a little less. The food was served family style. It was bbq, I believe chicken. There was also salad and desert. The decor made me feel ready to go to Hawaii.

The show is wonderful very entertaining. Food is really nice too. Pineapple bread is delish, the salad has a mango poppyseed dressing and it is good too. There are ribs and chicken and rice and a chocolate desert.

Yummy for sure, not 5 star but good food. Plus you get beer and wine and the gratuity is paid in the ticket price. We really enjoy the show. Kids love the fire juggler.

Thanks so much for the help, we booked for the 8pm show! We all are very excited to go.:banana::banana::banana:!!! What should we wear:confused3

It is an outdoor event. Observe weather predictions. Before you arrive, and especially if the weather is going to be warm, drop by one of the shops in the Great Ceremonial House and by a Hawaiian shirt. :hippie:

We were jsut there last Saturday. That was our fourth time. The reason we did it this time is because some family met us from florida and they wanted to do it. Since we were on Deluxe plan we thought what the heck lol! I will say the show itself is kind of corney. The dances and fire dancer at the end is worth going to see at least once. Food is ribs, Leni Chicken, rice, veggies, Pineapple, bread and dessert with all you can drink beer and wine and soft drinks. Give it a try I think you'll like it!!

You'll enjoy the food and the show for sure. DH insisted that we do this show again. Did the DP for the first time last year and went with DSis and her family so we were a table of 10 on our own. Most people wore Hawaiian style clothing to go with the theme of the show but it's not necessary. Some people came from the parks. Everyone has a great time.

This show is OK........its entertaining BUT if you are expecting it to be authentic Hawaiian it is NOT. I have been to Hawaii many times and as a ex-Hawaiian dancer I can tell you this show is not the same show you would see in Hawaii.
There is ALOT of Disney mixed in making it entertaining for the kids as well as adults.
The show is a good show.

As for attire. I would wear a nice summer dress, guys can wear cotton shorts and nice casual button down shirt. The lai wil be provided to you when you arrive.
