Another thing to determine is (1) will they let this option to cancel without ETF "only" be for the affected line (which is line #2) or will they let this be the option for all the lines in your family plan (you can have up to 5) or will they let this option to cancel be for the first two lines on the family plan?
They told me that it is for all of my lines (we have 4). She listed the cost of the termination fee for each line & said that all of the fees are waived when/if we choose to cancel. We are switching to Ntelos today (waiting for the phones to come). They will buy you out of your old contract anyway, so it really doesn't matter for us. If anything this has only made me decide to quit taking & settling for these companies that decide to screw over loyal customers. There is too much competition out there now & I'm sick of it. Next is my cable/phone/internet provider.
