Sprint Data Service in the parks???

So I'm trying to convince my DH to upgrade our "dumb" phones to smart phones. One selling point is the Disney and Touring Plans Apps.

Does anyone here have Sprint data service? Have you been able to get 3G or 4G service in the parks?

We have sprint phones with data plan and never had an issue with the apps in the park. I should also say we have free/unlimited roaming and I never check if we are roaming so that might be it too.

Do you like your smart phone? What are your fave apps?

My DH is unconvinced that it's worth the extra $40/month for our two phones. I think it will come in handy, but hard to convince him of that.

I have the iphone with Sprint. I haven't had it long enough to use at WDW yet, but I will in 36 more days. Last year my sons had a smart phone and we used the "Lines" app and it was great. Very helpful. I have to say, so far I am in love with my iphone and I have had it since they came out with Sprint in October. It was well worth the extra to upgrade from my dumb phone!

We've only been able to get 3G in Orlando/WDW. Other than that we haven't had any issues and have used the wait times app with success.

I had no problem with my Sprint service and using apps in the parks last December. I have 3G service because 4G is not available in my area.

No problems with data in the parks. I got my iPhone the day before we left for Disney last November.

Dh has had Sprint with a blackberry for 3 years with no issues.

We have used our sprint smart phones for years in the parks and they work great!! We love the unlimited data!!!

I don't have Sprint, but have been with others who do. Just like my AT&T there don't seem to be any issues except at Epcot and I think that's because everyone is posting pictures of their drinks.
