This would be a good spot to post medals… will they?
Wine and Dine will be two weeks out from club registration tomorrow and next week is DL week so I’d like to think that’s more of a lock.I would think this week medals next week wine & dine themes or vice versa
Agreed! For any of you running Springtime Surprise for the 5th time this year wouldn't be nice if the surprise this year is that runDisney will recognize any perfect runners! I have to be honest I ran it the first two years simply because I thought there would be an opportunity to be perfect for a race/challenge. When it came out that runDisney was not recognizing STS I decided to pretend I had not heard that and have stubbornly help out hope and kept coming back. But if it is only a dream then it is time to initiate the Official Unofficial Springtime Surprise Perfect Club!
If the Social Media team doesn't get a video of them riding Cosmic Rewind to that song, they've failed.Garden Rocks act for Springtime Surprise is The Commodores. Such a bummer they couldn't get A Flock of Seagulls until 3 weeks later--what better crowd to play "I Ran" for??

I train on a treadmill most of the time. I often watch football, or I may pull up a YouTube video of a race I'm training for. But mostly I save guilty pleasure content that I only allow myself to watch on the treadmill. For me that's a random Housewives franchise or Outlander, mostly.Anyone else living in this deep freeze? I have never trained through a winter this cold before. It’s going to get to -28c/-14f today. Hopefully this isn’t like this too much for this training plan. I prefer to do my long runs outside for more adaptation and not as boring as the treadmill. What is everyone’s treadmill tips for doing long runs on there? I usually listen to podcasts on my shorter treadmill runs. I am doing the challenge and it’s my first challenge so making sure I stick with the training plan. Any tips for making treadmill running go faster and enjoyable is appreciated.
Having something to watch definitely helps a lot. I've been doing more treadhill/indoor bike recently due to a lingering ankle issue, it it got much better when I started putting on shows. When I have to go to the gym, I'll download a few episodes on my iPad and watch that way.Anyone else living in this deep freeze? I have never trained through a winter this cold before. I'm happy the last season of Outlander will drop in March when I'm doing all my long runs before this year's SS.Yup. 1 mile away from the Chicago city limit. I'm actually trying the 12 week Nike Run Club HF training program. I used Galloway's for the last Wine&Dine HF in October. Want to change things up a little this time. I have a HF coming up in April in Chicago and then the official Chicago Bank of America HF in June. After the Wine & Dine I took a month off to deal with a calf/ achilles injury but am now back in the full swing. It was -10 this morning. I did invest in some winter gear this year but when it's too cold out it's treadmill time. I was supposed to do a 10k this morning but I had some technical issues and hard stop at 7 so I could only get in 5 miles.Anyone else living in this deep freeze?
