Springtime marathon

I just realized i will be in Disney for the Springtime marathon, i am staying at AKL I arrive on Friday so no biggy. I planned AK for Saturday and MK on Sunday. What time does the road reopen for Sunday. If I leave around 11 to go MK should I push it back to 12 or 1?

You should have no issues with travel on race weekend. The 10 Miler is on Sunday, and if following the traditional course, will run between Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The 10k on Saturday is mostly Epcot with a run around the Boardwalk area. If there are any detours they will be clearly marked and you will have a route to get to Magic Kingdom. Enjoy your vacation!

The races start so early (5 am) that even on Sunday, if you are headed up World Drive to MK (the usual bus route from AKL) the only section of that road to be impacted is an offramp and it reopens at 8 am. All the other roads in the area reopen by 10 at the latest.

At some point close to your trip, you can check the road closure map that Disney publishes. The resorts will usually have info where guests can see it. But it can also be found in the digital event guide. It will be at the following address, but not until about a week or so before the event.
