Need to cancel one… and can’t really decide! Anyone have recent experience at either? I’m particularly interested in post-renovation thoughts on Sheraton… to decide if the extra steps are worth it.

We stayed at the Springhill Suites last month and were underwhelmed. It is definitely showing its age a little --spotty patches where walls were repaired, squeaky doors, nicks on furniture. The breakfast was also poorly stocked -- one day they "ran out" of yogurt, bagels, and muffins by 8:00 am -- how does that happen? The pool was tiny and the rooftop firework view was diminished by the fact that the glass clearly hadn't been cleaned recently and was dirty/smudgy. The parking garage had really tight spaces. The sofabed was also terrible and tiny.

Personally, I would keep the Sheraton. Not a fan of Springhills in general. If I were to stay on that corner, I would chose the Residence Inn.
