Spring Secret Sister swap Received Thread

I got my wonderful Secret Sister package today!! What a wonderful thing on a Friday!!

Can I just say that I my Secret Sister?!?!

The box contained a white gift bag tied with baby blue ribbon, and another great note!! My SS is so nice!!

The bag contained:

a cat notepad--I love it, and the cat's expression looks like my Maggy!

"dog tag" like embellishments with travel words on them--they are definitely going in our March album!

2 sets of ADORABLE baby boy stickers from K & Company (I love those stickers!)--these are SO, SO cute!! I can't wait to use them for SIOLB!

Disney adhesive Envelopes--this is so perfect! I have lots of "pixie dust" and Mickey confetti from where our dinner tables were decorated for DH's birthday! These will be perfect!

adhesive "signs" that will be PERFECT for SIOLB and for our family albums!

a K & Company (did I mention I love them?) tag pad with 24 assorted tags in Baby boy theme--I'm SO excited!!

Charms from Making Memories that are new baby themed--SIOLB is going to be set!!

heart brads and star brads in multi-colors--Love, love, love these! And I just ran out of stars the other day!!

a roll of yellow (my favorite color) ribbon that says, "You are my sunshine!"--I'm going to split that between DH, my beloved cat, and save some for SIOLB!!!

a 6 X 6 Disney accordian album--I've never even seen this--I can't wait to use it!!

Ladies,
Please remember that the mail by date is the 1st of the month. It can actually take several days to reach you. I'm tracking packages and I do check with everyone whose partner has not recieved a package, but I do wait until the 15th of the month.
I know how hard to can be to wait. Both of my children have not recieved packages this month, but I'm not worried, I know they will arrive soon.
Please remember that no one will go without. If I know that you have not recieved a package, I will get an angel to send you an extra special package.

No worries here either, just updating in case it was sent and somehow went into that big dark hole called lost mail ....still nothing as of today.

To my Secret Sister......YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!! I LOVE EVERYTHING

my day got incrediably better seeing my box waiting for me after spending two hours today with our accountant going over our taxes and finding out how much we have to pay.....all I can say is with this being our first year being self employed, we weren't quiet sure what to expect, thank goodness I had been putting money away each month and it just covered our taxes......I came home to find my box on the front porch and got a HUGE smile on my face......DD ran to get it almost as excited as I was and here is all of my wonderful goodies:

ok-now for DD's. You would not believe how excited she was to get her box and how much fun she had going through it-I think she even screamed one time she couldnt stand it! and she happened to be with me at work

SS-you were asking about homemade items and favorite characters-We are happy with anything homemade really. We're easy that way As for favorite characters-we are both 'classic disney' girls-we love the fab 5, pooh, and princesses. But basically anything Disney is always good! We love it all

My package arrived and I LOVE it!

It had:
--K&Company Girl Scout 2-sided cardstock stack which I have been eyeing forever but would never buy for myself.
--K&Company embossed Girl Scout stickers
--Super pretty Springy ribbon
--a $10 gift card to Chick-fil-a in a darling watermelon tin (mmmm, mmmm yummy!)
--2 packs of Twix bars (that are long gone )

Thanks SS! I've been looking at this Girl Scout stuff forever but wouldn't buy it for myself. Thanks for getting it for me. I it!

DS was so excited to open his package tonight...
He received:
a sheet of theme park alphabet stickers,
5 character Light-up stamper set, Which is way cool and he told me I could not play with it (I might have to steal it to try it),
gymnastics stickers,
Friend metal charms, He asked for a picture of his SS, so that he could scrap it with the charms- because they are know friends,
A Disneyland pen- way cool because it has clapper hands as the top,
2 pairs of deco scissors,
another cool pen with mickey in a red car, DS asked how did they know my favorite color was red?
Princess stationary and a bracelet (for my sister) She loved it and said thanks- it was way cool that you remembered her.,
last but not least thress pins. I love the Disneyland pin- He put it on his special pin display. These pins never get traded.

and my SS is so generous I feel really tight now and I'm going to make loads for my SS to make up for my tiny package

I opened this big cardboard box and peeping out was a big plastic praying mantis wearing a label saying "Sorry i am only a big bug and not a cricket" so that started me off with a smile Then under the bubble wrap were loads of wrapped presents - honestly, it was like Christmas when I was a kid In it I found:

5 colorbox catseyes plus a refill bottle for Chestnut roan (my favourite!)
7 packs o stickers - Jolees and Nicole - BBQ/cooking, school and Minnie/Paris (they will come in useful )
3 boxes of MM big eyelets, including one of stars which I've never seen before
Deja View sculpted brads and MM pebble brads - perfect for my heritage album
Cute "boy" tag
Studio G clear stamps - birthday (very useful!!)
K & Co Marcella Sticker swatch book on summer theme
Large pewter brads
CK Christmas mini-album kit (i LOVE Christmas!!)

I feel so blessed! SS you are awesome! Come to the UK when DS(14) is at camp and you can stay with us and I'll take you round London

My SP sent 2 different MM paint sets-each with 6 different paints that I have envied from afar for a very looooooong time and now THEY ARE MINE!

I finished making my items for my Secret Sisters. The boys modified some of the paper bag albums from last summer. I didn't think it fair for their Secret Swappers to get something completely made by them. Who knows what it would have ended up looking like. They both did a really great job.
