If you read the thread the poster that it was in response to said that they didnt want to stay at Poly because the point chart was too high. All future resorts will have a high point chart compared to older resorts. So then it became they wanted a blue card for sorcerer's pass not for future resorts. It was not a blanket statement for everyone it was for the people who dont want to stay at new resorts.

I think you are correct about new resorts having higher point charts.

LSL will be the first resort where we find this out. Does Disney think LSL is better than BRV and CCV? BRV will go away in 2042 and likely be replaced.

Lazy river is a smart addition to entice people. I believe Great Wolf put a resort near DL. With Florida having hot as Hades humidity in the summer, better pools are an inexpensive way to make their resorts and DVC better.

Yep. People go gaga over SAB so maybe they are betting on that being the shining star of LSL. It may not have charts as high as Poly Tower but if not it won’t be much less. Basically 0% chance it will have BRV/CCV charts. If it did it would sell out so quick imo.

My guess along with everyones that CFW will be rolled into LSL.

With that I'm betting the studios will be priced the same as the cabins with location to the lazy river being the justification and if you want more space you can still grab a cabin.

Then the 1 bedrooms at LSL will actually have laundry and cost more of an average of CCV/PVB,RIV/VGF.

I think this depends on what the rooms look like. If they are larger and better appointed, then the answer is probably yes.

Yep. There are many ways for them to justify LSL having a higher points chart than CCV/BRV - being new construction, they aren't going be space constrained like they were with CCV.

I think the more interesting bet is will it exceed RIV's point chart? My money is on yes, but I could see someone taking the other side of that bet.

It will be the same or more than RIV no chance it’s less. My bet is on more.

We have owned DVC since 2009 and go several times per year. Despite that every single trip I say multiple times, how much I love the washer and dryer and how much I underestimated the need for it. I can’t imagine NOT having a w&d in our room.
