I know this is posted every year, but when are everyone's spring breaks?
We're looking for a very low crowd time in April or May. Thanks to everyone for your inputs!!!
From everything I have read the most busy times at WDW are the week prior to and the week after Easter. People will, however, post all kinds of Spring Break dates throughout March and April. We used to live in Florida and we always got Good Friday and the week after Easter off. Now we always get the last week in March, regardless of when Easter is. We went to WDW last March. It was about 2 weeks prior to Easter and crowds were moderate at best, I would say it was less crowded than most of our summer trips. This year our break does coinside with Easter so we are not going to WDW, though some of our friends are. We are planning a Christmas trip next year, I know that will be a mob scene Anyway, I would say that anytime in Spring is okay as long as you avoid those Easter weeks. The weather is great at that time too. Lacee
With the celebration on May 5th, that may be quite busy in the park with press events, since they should be opening Soarin, the Stunt show, and the new show at MK. All the ads have put this as a global celebration, so although it is Disneyland's anniversary, the World may feel some of the repercussions. The next few weeks in May until Memorial Day should be pretty safe crowd-wise, though. Oh, and don't forget about the grad nights on Fridays in late April. That will close the park to you pretty early then. Most likely another park will be open later to compensate for that, though.
Here in Toms River and from what I've heard most of NJ has off the last week of April. My SIL lives in Staten Island, NY and her kids have the same time off as mine.
There are several polls about spring break on this forum, if you search from them. The results seem to indicate that each week in March will be busier than the last (so the most busy will be March 28 - April 2)
I know that when planning our last trip, I was advised to avoid "Jersey" week because of crowds. Can any of you tell me exactly which week that is? Thank you, thank you, thank you!
